Hey, I'm Sean.

When I started Backbone, I wanted to bring that same level of attention to small businesses that couldn't justify a full-time hire but still deserved someone genuinely watching their numbers with them.

Which package is right for me?

If you're not sure, start with Foundation. A lot of clients begin there and move into Full Partnership once they see what's possible when someone is actually watching their numbers. Sean will tell you honestly if he thinks you need more.

Do I need to already have a bookkeeper?

Nope. Bookkeeping is included in both packages. If you already have someone you love, we can talk about how that fits.

How is this different from just hiring a CPA?

A CPA is typically focused on tax compliance — they look backward at what already happened. Backbone is focused on what's happening right now and what's coming next. The two are complementary, not the same thing.

Do I need to be a certain size to work with Backbone?
